Manuel G. Runyan was born Feb. 27, 1872 in Geneva, Alabama and died Oct. 20, 1954 in Florida. He began his art study at the age of 14 in Florida with Miss Emma Chandler. He was a student of William M Chase, Clyde Leon Keller, Frank Duveneck & Charles W Carnorne. His subjects was typical Florida and Pensacola scenes. He had a studio on Palafox Street.
