Object Name Scrapbook
Scope & Content Scrapbook with brown leather-like cover and a brown tie to hold the pages. Has "Scrapbook" in bold lettering and embossed profile of a dog on the cover. Pensacola Historical Society applied brown, reinforced packing tape with the number "71" written on it to the cover of the scrapbook. They also applied a small, round label with "Runyan 1938" to the front of the book.
Contents include receipts for items loaned to the Dorthy Walton Museum in 1938, a program "The Legend of the King of Satsumaland," by J. M. Clements. Included on the program are the songs "Pensacola Town," "Down Pensacola Way," and Satsumaland.
Contains many newspaper clippings about Runyan's art and shows he entered. Also clippings about family members, and items of interest to Mr. Runyan.
